One of the highest water aqueduct bridges in the world, the Wentang Aqueduct crossing is via a concrete arch with a span of approximately 100 meters.
The Wentang gorge is also crossed by a spectacular beam bridge on the Longlang Expressway in a remote region of Hunan Province. The 180 meter main span is supported on piers as tall as 94 meters.
