Mingtangshan Glass Footbridge
明堂山玻璃桥
Yuexi, Anhui, China
(427) feet high / (130) meters high
(525) foot span / (160) meter span
2019
Mingtangshan Glass Footbridge is located high up on the edge of a spectacular group of cone shaped limestone mountains near Yuexi, Anhui Province, China. The East end of the bridge cables terminate into a mountain anchorage with no tower.
There is also a cantilevered glass platform among the hundreds of meters of glass cliffwalks.
This is at least the 50th glass footbridge built in China that was directly inspired by the success of the Zhangjiajie Glass Footbridge that opened in 2016.
