Mabianhe Bridge Jianshe is one of the largest crossings along the Leshan to Xichang Expressway in Sichuan Province with four main spans of 120 meters.
The expressway has at least half a dozen concrete beam spans over 90 meters high as well as the Suba arch bridge that is more then 200 meters high.
The biggest engineering challenge along the route is the 15.3 kilometer long Daliangshan #1 Tunnel that ranks among the 10 longest road tunnels in the world.
The Mabianhe Bridge was originally planned to be a large double span extradoesed bridge before the crossing location was changed and the height reduced.
