One of Chongqing's highest beam bridges, the giant Nanchanggou Bridge crosses high above a mountainous ravine with a main span configuration of 106+ 200+ 106 meters on piers as tall as 98 meters. A tunnel 375 meters long from the Donghe #1 Bridge was constructed to access the lower pier foundation areas of the Nanchanggou Bridge.

Nanchanggou Bridge is one of 4 high beam spans on the Chengkai Expressway between Chengkou and Kaixian in Northeast Chongqing, China. The other 3 high beam bridges include Shuanghekou Bridge Chengkai, Donghe #1 and Donghe #2 Bridge.
