Shangbuluo Bridge is one of several high beam spans on the Lijiang to Shangri-La expressway near the famous Tiger Leaping Gorge tourist region of Yunnan.
Early plans called for a beam bridge approximately twice as high at 240 meters before the alignment of the expressway was moved further east away from the Chongjiang River canyon.
Shangbuluo Bridge has a central span configuration of 83+150+83 meters on piers as tall as 108 meters.
