One of Spain’s highest reservoir bridges, the Viaducto de la Baells crosses 1,588 feet (484 mtrs) over the Baells reservoir just half a mile upstream of the dam. The deep water required engineers to build a central pier 328 feet (100 mtrs) high. The bridge is located just 3 miles (5 kms) northeast of Berga, Catalonia, Spain.
