The Blahu Glass Footbridge is part of a popular tourist area that surrounds the spectacular Qian River Gorge in the center of the city of Qianjiang, Guizhou. There are several other high bridges downstream and upstream of the Balahu Glass Footbridge including the Ceheng Footbridge that is even higher at 146 meters.

Just downstream is the 83 meter high Zhengzhou arch bridges. The Balahu Glass Footbridge leads to a long cliffwalk as well as the overlook of the giant Avalokiteśvara cliff sculpture that is some 300 meters above the Qian River level.
