Beishanzhen, Zhejiang, China
(410) feet high / (125) meters high
558 foot span / 170 meter span
Built to cross a deep reservoir in China’s Zhejiang Province, the Beishan bridge was still under construction when the rising waters of the reservoir drowned the towering piers under hundreds of feet of water. The 3 main spans measure 558 feet / 170 mtrs.
