The Chaoyang Bridge offers a grand vista of the wide Jinghe River valley as it carries the G70 back up to one of the many flat plateaus that make up the desert region of Northern China.

Located 12 kilometers east of Changwu, Shaanxi on the G70 Fuyin Expressway, the route is one of a dozen spoke highways that extend out from the giant northern Chinese city of Xian in Shaanxi Province. The 4-lane expressway provides an inter-provincial road corridor from Yinchuan to Wuhan and the border of Shaanxi and Gansu Provinces. The central span configuration is 55+ 4x 100+ 55 meters with 6x 30 meter approach spans on piers as tall as 101 meters. The left and right viaducts have a total length of 668 and 698 meters. The deck is 24.5 meters wide.
