Echibang Bridge

Completed in 2010 to bypass an older stretch of S306 that descended into a steep canyon, the Echibang Bridge has a relatively small span of 80 meters for a bridge that exceeds 100 meters in height. The older Hunan-Guizhou highway was built in 1935 and the steep grade into the river canyon necessitated the construction of a spiral in the road that the locals affectionately called the "Screw Bridge".
The new bridge on the right and on the left the spiral loop with the "Screw Bridge".
A bus completes a trip around the screw bridge loop completed in 1935.
