Echibang Bridge
鹅翅膀大桥
Ganxixiang, Guizhou, China
358 feet high / 109 meters high
262 foot span / 80 meter span
2010

Built in 2010 to bypass an older stretch of S306, the Echibang Bridge has a relatively small span of 80 meters for a bridge that exceeds 100 meters in height. The older Hunan-Guizhou highway was built in 1935 and the steep descent into the river canyon necessitated the construction of a spiral in the road that the locals affectionately called the "Screw Bridge".
