Crossing from one flat plateau to another near Benameji, Spain, the lofty Viaducto Rio Genil will carry the A-45 Autovía Córdoba-Antequera on a new, direct alignment across the river. The older crossing traversed a wide arc west of the new viaduct. Due to open in 2010, the lanky piers will support 5 long spans of 312 feet (95 mtrs).
