Guchuan Bridge was completed in 2013 to replace the Wutai #1 Bridge that was destroyed by flooding on the Ailiaobei River from Typhoon tMorakot in August 2009. Guchuan Bridge reportedly has Taiwan's tallest pier at 99 meters. The bridge has a total length of 654 meters.
