Jiagaihe Railway Bridge
架盖河特大桥
Zhijin, Guizhou
(607) feet high / (185) meters high
630 foot span / 192 meter span
2016

The highest bridge on the one track railway line between Zhijin and Bijie in Guizhou Province, the giant Jiagaihe Railway Bridge is also one for the record books with a giant main span of 192 meters that tied the Niujiaoping Railway Bridge as the longest concrete railway beam span in the world. Portugal's Ponte S. João Railway Bridge over the River Douro is longer at 250 meters but it is unclear whether that span carries full size locomotives or only light rail. Both of these Chinese 192 meter railway bridges will be surpassed by at least one giant beam bridge on the Yunnan Province rail line between Kunming City and the Vietnam border.

Much of the great height of the Liuchong River gorge is hidden beneath a deep reservoir.
