This rare, unsymmetrical single tower cable stayed bridge was built in advance of the construction of the giant Dongzhuang Dam over the Jinghe River. The curved concrete dam will be approximately 200 meters tall when completed sometime after 2020.
The central tower of the Jinghe Dongzhuang Dam cable stayed bridge is 82 meters tall supporting a span configuration of 120+27 meters. The total length is 153 meters.
