One of the highest and most beautiful spans in all of Northern China, the Jinghe Dongzhuang Dam Bridge is a 2-lane, Y-shaped steel through arch with pedestrian walkways on both sides of the bridge.
The 284 meter long Jinghe Dongzhuang Dam Bridge has a span configuration of 19.5+220+19.5 meters and a width that varies between 18 and 36 meters. The converging nature of the two arch ribs results in the deck suspender cables going from both sides of the outer edge on the south end of the span to just one line of suspender cables on the north end. There is a visitors center and parking area on the north side of the bridge.
