Kunming Highway Beam Bridge
Qinglong, Guizhou, China
328 feet high / 100 meters high
(400) foot span / (122) meter span
2009
One of two 328 foot (100 mtr) high bridges that hug the slope of a major tributary of the Beipanjiang river, this unnamed beam bridge is located just 2 miles (3 kms) west of a concrete arch bridge of equal height on the Kunming to Guiyang highway in China’s western province of Guizhou. The soaring 1,093 foot (330 mtr) high Beipanjiang 2009 suspension bridge is located on the same highway several miles to the west.
