One of the largest and most impressive glass platform/cliffwalk sites in the world, the Laoyinshan Cliffwalk opened in 2019 with no less then 3 huge overlook platforms including what is surely the largest circular platform ever constructed.

The Laoyinshan scenic spot overlooks the beautiful Jinhu Lake that is surrounded by the urban high rise buildings of Gejiu City. The lake is located within a natural land depression. The city of Gejiu grew largely on the abundance of tin that is still mined in the mountains around the city. Sometime in the 1950s a mining accident caused groundwater to rise up and fill the valley creating the scenic Jinhu Lake. Underground spillways were constructed to prevent any future flooding.
