The Longchuan Bridge crosses the Shiqian River between two cliffs in a dramatic setting on the expressway between Sinan city and the G60 expressway to the south. Just a few kilometers north of the Longchuan Bridge the expressway crosses the huge Wujiang River on a T-beam bridge more then 200 meters high.

The short piers of Longchuan Bridge support a large central span configuration of 106+200+106 meters. The south side of the bridge has 6 approach spans of 40 meters for a total length of 667 meters.
