One of China’s earliest bungee jumps, the Longqingxia gorge cantilevered platform is also one of the most beautiful, located within a deep canyon of the Gucheng River about 80 kilometers northwest of Beijing.

To reach the jump site, visitors must also ascend one of the longest and most colorful escalators ever built. Known as the soaring dragon, the zig-zagging structure is 258 meters long and takes tourists to the top of the dam where the lake is located. The scenic spot also has caves and temples and is not too far from the famous Badaling Great Wall tourist spot.
