For high cliffwalk fans, one of the temples has a zig-zag group of stairs attached to a vertical rock face at least 60 meters high. In addition to the many temples to visit, there is the mysterious Qixian slot canyon with a series of precarious ladders and steps bolted into the sides of the rock.  There is also a tall cliff elevator.
