One of the several large bridges on the G55 Erguang expressway between Jiyuan, Henan Province and Jincheng, Shanxi Province, the Nanhe Bridge carries 4 lanes across one concrete box viaduct 24.5 meters wide. The continuous rigid frame bridge is supported on piers as high as 85 meters. Cutting through the Wangwu Shan mountain range, the expressway is most famous for the 161 meter high Xianshenhe River Bridge - the highest extradosed bridge in the world.
