Nanpuxi Bridge is one of 3 high crossings on the expressway that connects Wencheng and Taishun cities. Each span is a different bridge type with Nanpu being a concrete filled steel tubular arch CFST with a main span of 258 meters.

The highest and most iconic bridge on the route is the extradosed Hongxi Bridge with a main span of 265 meters. Further south is the Nanshan beam bridge.
