Ofukazawa Bridge
大深沢橋
Ōsaki, Miyagi, Japan
(164) feet high / (50) meters high
(230) foot span / (70) meter span
(1962)

One of Japan's most popular tourist spans, the Ofukazawa Bridge offers a perfect vantage point of the Naruko Gorge in a beautiful region of Miyagi Prefecture. Since the early 1960s photographers have been coming out in droves during the fall season to capture the vibrant autumn reds, yellows and oranges that blanket the forested autumn leaves. Several hiking trails lead down to the bottom of the gorge where you can also see the Rikku Railway line.
