Very similar in size and length to the Burro Creek bridge in the U.S. state of Arizona, the Okuaso truss arch carries a 2-lane road across a deep gorge in Japan’s southern prefecture of Kumamoto. Just to the south is the Takachiho Gorge with the largest collection of high bridges in Japan.
