The first really high bridge on the stretch of G76 expressway east of Guiyang city, the Shimenkan Bridge curves across a beautiful mountain gorge. The giant central span has a configuration of 118+220+118 meters and a total length of 465 meters.
The G76 expressway has more then two dozen beam bridges that exceed 100 meters in height. Among all the beam spans on the G76, only the Sancha Bridge and the Chishuihe Bridge have longer beam spans of 230 and 248 meters.
