Suba Bridge is the largest and highest bridge crossing along the Leshan to Xichang Expressway in Sichuan Province. The concrete span of 350 meters is one of the longest of its type in Sichuan Province. The expressway has at least half a dozen concrete beam spans over 90 meters high.

The biggest engineering challenge along the route is the 15.3 kilometer long Daliangshan #1 Tunnel that ranks among the 10 longest road tunnels in the world.
