Tongshengou is the smallest of 4 giant viaducts on the 94 kilometer Xianyang-Chunhua-Xunyi Expressway north of the giant city of Xian in Shaanxi Province. The route is a typical Shaanxi Province artery that crosses large plateaus punctuated by several deep canyons. Sanshuihe Bridge is the crown jewel of the bridges with 183 meter tall piers.

Located at kilometer 60, Tongshengou has a span configuration of 5×30 +75+135+75 +6×30 meters. The tallest pier is 114 meters.
