Tongzhuanghe Bridge is one of Hubei Province's largest beam bridges with a main span of 240 meters. Built across a tributary river of the Yagntze that is largely under Three Gorges reservoir water, the Tongzhuanghe Bridge is part of a triangle of 3 new bridges that include the Xiangxi Yangtze River arch bridge and the Xiangxihe cable stayed bridge just a few kilometers to the north on a similarly submerged tributary of the Yangtze River.
