Designed in 1930 by Switzerland’s famous bridge designer, A. Sarrasin, the Visp or Stalden bridge crosses a magnificent gorge in the Valais region of Switzerland. Three years later Sarrasin would create an even higher and more spectacular concrete arch bridge over the Trient gorge in nearby Gueuroz.
