Leaping between two vertical cliffs, the Haima arch bridge is one of many high spans that cross the great Wu River. Completed in 2016, the 2-lane concrete span connects Jinsha and Xiuwan Counties with a deck to water drop of between 105 to 175 meters depending on the depth of the reservoir. The bridge has a total length of 250 meters and a width of 11.5 meters.

The temporary construction footbridge next the arch was an impressive span of approximately 250 meters.

The giant Wu River is one of the 5 largest tributaries of the entire Yangtze River and has a collection of high bridges greater then any river in the world.
