One of western China’s highest railway bridges, the brawny Wujiaping Bridge #1 crosses some 361 feet (110 mtrs) above a V-shaped gorge. Opened in 2001, the 1,434 foot (437 mtr) long bridge consists of a traditional 3-span central section with a river span of 289 feet (88 mtrs) and two side spans of 184 feet (56 mtrs).
