I saw the foundations for this pipeline bridge under construction in late 2008. Crossing in front of the classic concrete arch road bridge from 1977, this is the second high pipeline bridge to span the Yesanhe in the same vicinity. If you include the highway bridge several miles away, the Gaopingzhen area now has 5 high crossings of the deep Yesanhe River gorge. The side spans are 58 and 34 meters for a total length of 1,089 feet (332 mtrs). The deck is 4.5 meters wide.
