Zhishuigou Railway Bridge is part of a 204.5 kilometer double electrified line that runs through the Yellow River region east of Xian and also includes a large 803 meter long truss bridge across the Yellow River as well as the Zongmugou Railway Bridge with its unusual Eiffel-tower shaped 105 meter pier.

The 1,600 meter long Zongmugou Railway Bridge has a span configuration of 1×48m+1×64m+1×48m+18×64m+6×32m+1×24 on piers as tall as 79 meters.
