Wulong Exit Bridge is part of a 2-lane access road to the newer 6-lane G65 Expressway between Chongqing City and the Youyang to Yanhe Expressway in Chongqing Province.

Just upstream is the even larger and higher Changtouhe Bridge on the G65 expressway with a main span of 180 meters. This improved route opened in 2024 and parallels the original G65 Expressway located to the north that opened in 2009.

Also not to be overlooked is the equally impressive Changtouhe Railway Bridge 长途河双线大桥 located just a kilometer north. This double track high speed structure is 345.6 meters long with a colossal single tower 130 meters tall supporting two spans of 132 meters. The deck is at least 80 meters above the Changtou River.
