Nantian Glass Platform
南天玻璃观景台
Danzhuxiang, Zhejiang, China
919 feet high / 280 meters high
(197) foot span / (60) meter span
2021
Possibly the largest glass platform in the world, the epic double decker Nantian Glass Platform is the centerpiece of the amazing Shenxianju Scenic Area in China's Zhejiang Province. The mountain top scenic area is home to the largest concentration of high footbridges and platforms anywhere in China with a total of 10.
The Ruyi Glass Footbridge became a media sensation when it was completed in 2020. One of more than 100 glass bridges that have been built in China since 2016, the Ruyi crossing is unique for having a split level design with a series of stair waves that mimic some of China's famous, ancient stone hump bridges.
Two ropeways allow easy access to the many kilometers of trails and towering cliffwalks.
