The G75 was Guizhou's earliest high bridge expressway with many large beam spans opening along its north-south route between 2005 and 2006.  The 526 meter long Laowangtian Bridge is among the least known spans crossing more then 100 meters above the largely inaccessible tree-filled Madu River gorge.  The 4-lane route is heavily used and was the first major connection between Guiyang and Chongqing cities.
