The southernmost high bridge on the new Enqian expressway between Enshi, Hubei and Qianjiang, Chongqing, the crossing of the Apeng River is achieved via a beam bridge with a main span of 160 meters atop piers 110 meters tall. The total length of the structure is 875 meters. There is a reservoir beneath the bridge making the deck more then 110 meters above the old river level.

The bridge is located several kilometers north of Qianjiang city. The highest bridge on the route is the beautiful red 268 meter span arch bridge that soars more then 200 meters above the Long River and located midway between Enshi and Qianjiang cities.
