Located about an hour drive northeast of the huge Yangtze River city of Wuhan, the Guanshihe Bridge has 3 mains spans of 120 meters within a total length of 1.1 kilometers. The maximum pier height is 95 meters. Started in August 10, 2008, the bridge was structurally completed by the end of 2010 and is the largest bridge on the Wu Ma section of highway. The crossing is right near the town of Muzidianzhen approximately 30 kilometers east of Macheng on the G42 expressway.
