One of the highest bridges across China's famous Yellow River, the Xiaoshawan Yellow River Bridge is located next to the even higher 4-lane Zhungeer Huanghe Bridge that was completed in 2015.

The new beam bridge was part of an upgrade to route G109. The 831 meter long structure has a main span configuration of 88+160×2+88 meters on piers as tall as 108 meters.
