The biggest beam bridge on the Anjiang Expressway between Weng'an and the Jiangkou Expressway, Kaixiahe Bridge has a super-sized main span of 220 meters flanked by asymmetrical side span configuration of 118+220+160+58 on piers as tall as 140 meters. The longer, west side span of 160 meters may look odd to many as the thinnest point on the beam is not in the center 80 meters from either support pier but is instead just 50 meters from the west pier but 110 meters from the east pier.

Kaixiahe Bridge soars 195 meters above the surface of a small reservoir that is 25 meters deep at the bridge site.
