Nizhuhe Yunduan Glass Footbridge is the highest pedestrian glass footbridge in China and the highest pedestrian bridge of any kind in the world. The pedestrian crossing is part of the Nizhuhe tourism development located on the Yunnan side of the Beipanjiang River gorge approximately 8 kilometers north of the Duge Bridge on the G56 Expressway.
In addition to the Nizhuhe Yunduan Glass Footbridge, the Nizhuhe scenic area has a 253 meter tall cliff elevator that is a world record if measured by the outside section as the taller Zhangjiajie glass elevator is largely in an underground tunnel.
There is also a cantilevered glass platform that is 470 meters above the surface of the Beipan River.
