Qijiapo #1 Bridge is one of several big beam spans on the G55 Erguang Expressway that connects Jiyuan, Henan Province and Jincheng, Shanxi Province and is most famous for the Xianshenhe extradosed bridge with its unique and daring single, central support tower that rises 210 meters above a V-shaped river gorge.

Qijiapo #1 Bridge has two main spans of 130 meters atop piers as tall as 95.5 meters. Just to the north is the Qijiapo #3 Bridge.
