The highest bridge in China’s Guangdong province, the Dubu Bridge #1 is a six span prestressed concrete beam bridge with a maximum span length of 410 feet (125 mtrs). The well proportioned piers split into two about halfway up. Maximum pier height is 361 feet (110 mtrs).

Not to be confused with the above bridge, Dubu Bridge #2 is a seven span prestressed beam bridge that curves along the slope of a mountain just to the south with a maximum span length of 328 feet (100 mtrs) and Dubu Bridge #3 is a yet another big beam bridge with 4 main spans of 328 feet (100 mtrs) even further south. Maximum pier height of Dubu #1 is 302 feet (92 mtrs). A long tunnel separates the first two bridge viaducts.

All three of these 2-lane bridges are part of an upgrade to the older route G107 that makes a steep descent into the river valley. The southbound lanes use the older route to climb out of the valley while the northbound lanes cross the 3 large beam bridges as the road descends north into the river valley on a shallower grade. You can see a bit of the first bridge and more of the second and third Dubu spans during this video taken by a bus passenger: http://www.tudou.com/programs/view/LESdFORTExI/

The bridges are located about 8 miles (13 kms) and 10 miles (16 kms) south of Yangshan.

The under construction northbound route of the newer G107 can be faintly seen to the right of the older G107 road.
