Feilong Bridge crosses a small stream hundreds of meters above the deep canyon of the Lancanjiang (Mekong) River Gorge on a remote stretch of the G56 expressway. Completed in 2002, the beam span is one of many along the Yunnan stretch of the Hangrui expressway. The westernmost end of the G56 was finally completed all the way to the border of Burma in 2016.

Located at kilometer 442, some reports have Feiling Bridge as 380 meters long with a span configuration of 5x16 +77+140+77 +6.5 meters and a maximum pier height of 68 meters.
