Footbridge of Dreams Come True is part of the amazing Shenxianju Scenic Area in China's Zhejiang Province. The mountain top scenic area is home to the largest concentration of high footbridges and platforms anywhere in China with a total of 10.
The Footbridge of Dreams Come True is composed of a rare double suspension span with a pair of three below deck cable bundles that share just one central tower on a land rift between two cliffs. The south span is approximately 104 meters with a height of 50 meters. The north span is slightly shorter at around 96 meters with a height of 65 meters. The total length of the bridge is 215 meters.
The Ruyi Glass Footbridge became a media sensation when it was completed in 2020. One of more than 100 glass bridges that have been built in China since 2016, the Ruyi crossing is unique for having a split level design with a series of stair waves that mimic some of China's famous, ancient stone hump bridges.
Two ropeways allow easy access to the many kilometers of trails and towering cliffwalks.
