Cutting across a deep, V-shaped gully on a remote stretch of the G56 expressway, the Fozhangshan Bridge is one of Yunnan's earliest high bridges having been completed in 2002.

Located at Km539, the T-beam bridge offers spectacular views of the surrounding mountains during the steep descent into the giant Nujiang River canyon.
