The largest bridge on the S50 Taijia Expressway between Taiyuan and Jiaxian, this giant crossing of the Yellow River was made with a viaduct 1,593 meters long on piers as tall as 117 meters. Each of the four main spans are 150 meters long. The Yellow River is the dividing line between Shanxi and Shaanxi Provinces and has more high bridges across its waters then any other river in Northern China.
