One of two arches located along the Qinglong to Yuxi highway, the Liangfengyan Bridge crosses the mouth of the Azhihe River just before it blends into the mighty Beipanjiang River reservoir created by the Guangzhou Dam. Five kilometers to the west is a nearly identical arch across the Beipan River in a similar setting of vertical cliffs and hard rock.
Just 5 kilometers north of the Liangfengyan Bridge is the 247 meter high Azhihe suspension bridge on the Shuishuang highway between Anshun and Liupanshui cities.
