One of the 12 longest suspension bridge spans in the world, the Shenzhong Bridge is part of the giant Shenzhen-Zhongshan Bridge and tunnel project that crosses the Pearl River Delta 33 kilometers north of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge.

Originally called the Lingdingyang Bridge, the Shenzhen–Zhongshan Link is one of the highest ocean level port crossings in the world with a suspended steel box deck that rises 90 meters above the water. The 8-lane roadway is also one of the widest long span suspension bridges in the world at 41.2 meters and is supported by towers 270 meters tall.
